How to Use ProofTamil

Sign Up or Login

Create a free account or login to access ProofTamil's full features. You can sign up with your email or Google account.

→ Click "Sign Up - It's Free" button on homepage
→ Enter your email or use Google Sign-In
→ Verify your email and you're ready to go!

Open Your Workspace

Access your personal workspace where you can create and manage all your Tamil writing projects.

→ After login, click "Open Workspace" or navigate to Workspace in the menu
→ You'll see your drafts list and the main editor
→ Click "New Draft" to create a new Tamil text

Write Your Tamil Text

Type in Tamil using phonetic English or paste existing Tamil text. ProofTamil supports multiple input methods.

→ Type English phonetically (e.g., "vanakkam" for வணக்கம்)
→ Press Space to auto-convert to Tamil
→ Or paste your Tamil text directly - we'll analyze it automatically
→ Word limit: 2000 words per document

AI Assistant Reviews Your Text

Our AI automatically analyzes your Tamil text and provides grammar corrections, spelling fixes, and writing improvements.

→ AI suggestions appear in the right panel automatically
→ Each suggestion shows the issue, correction, and explanation in Tamil
→ 30-suggestion limit per 30 days (renews monthly)
→ View your remaining suggestions in the dashboard

Review and Apply Suggestions

Review each suggestion carefully and choose which ones to apply to your text. You're always in control.

→ Click ✓ to accept a suggestion and apply the fix
→ Click ✕ to reject a suggestion
→ Text updates in real-time in the editor
→ Click "Accept All" to apply all suggestions at once

Save and Archive Your Work

All your work is automatically saved. Archive completed drafts or keep them for future reference.

→ Auto-save happens every 2 seconds (check "Saved" status)
→ Edit the title anytime by clicking on it
→ Archive completed work by clicking the archive icon
→ View archived drafts in the Archive page
